Hydralisk

So this is the beginning of the Hydralisk and so far I'm really pleased with it but there's still a long way to go and a whole other creature to create.

Update

So there a few questions I have well really just one sometimes my figure just turns into the bright blue in the picture down below and then at other times he looks how he should look. I also am having issue creating a title name for him like I make the jpeg in photoshop without a background so I just have the text but then when I use it as a stencil in Mudbox it has a white background. Besides those two issues though I'm basically done with this tutorial I even gave him a nice stone spear. Which is blue sometimes too.

Looks more like rock now and working on the weapon.

Toy Making

So I think this is going pretty well so far I'm on the 13th video and he shows what he is going to to as like a base concept and then I use the same tools but add different details.

So for instance I create more block looking eyebrows or more defined I guess, and his torso has a few ridge lines in the form of a rib cage.

It's done.

So I've watched all the videos and he just kind of through the pupil and eye color on the model in his free time. So mine has blank eyes however I like how it works with my model gives it more of a comic feel I think. I didn't like the panting with photographs. Well I should say I didn't like how it looked on my version so I tried to add it in a bit but I do know how to do it. Anyway there's the first set of tutorials finished. I can't wait till I get my pen!
